Sagra della Percoca: Apulian Peach festival

it’s no secret, italians love peaches. we’re just five days away from one of our favorite weekends of the year. the 33rd annual Sagra Della Percoca is almost here: Festival of the Apulian Peach.

for anyone who has enjoyed our Divino Apulian Peach, you’ll know that this fruit is defined by it’s simplistic, soft, deliciously fresh flavor. this is why this festival is one of our favorites. as in the flavor, simplicity is the theme of this event. spreads, pies, gelati, pizzas, salads and wines will be made with traditional regional recipes showcasing the main ingredient: the Apulian Peach.

this fruit is defined by it’s simplistic, soft, deliciously fresh flavor.

this year, we’re in for something special. as seen in the picture below, 2016 has gifted us with special yellow hued crop, indicative of an extra plump Apulian fruit.

in case you can’t make it in person, we’ll be documenting this years journey, from farm to tent. stay juicy!
